DESCRIPTION
| Specializing in Boston’s Neighborhoods of Jones Hill, Savin Hill, Ashmont Hill, Neponset and Lower Mills in Dorchester and Roxbury’s Fort Hill. These are some of Boston’s favorite, safer neighborhoods without the prohibitive prices. Although very close to each other, these are very distinct neighborhoods. Some are close knit where neighbors visit, sit outdoors on their patios, or chat while walking with children or their dogs. Others you can come home from work and have very little interaction with neighbors. All are on the T’s Red Line as close as the front door, except Fort Hill’s Orange Line. Jones Hill: what spectacular skyline and water views from many of the homes. The area is a series of steep tree-lined streets wth a mix of long-time residents and new arrivals from the South End. Many huge old homes have been converted into show-stopping condominiums. Lower Mills: a historic area famous for the old Baker Chocolate Factories converted into condominiums and artist lofts. Some sit, literally, on the Neponset River. Ashmont Hill: here you’ll find huge old Victorian homes with such beautifully crafted architecture that each year owners opened their doors to the public for guided house tours. Fort Hill: so many brownstones remind you of the South End’s Appleton Street where back and side yards have become cute outdoor living spaces. Each vibrant neighborhood comes with its own small businiess district of shopping, coffee shops, restaurants and even walking and biking trails. Or if you’re looking for more recreation, a hop on the T brings you to fine art and science museums, theatres, fine dining, the Common and Public Gardens, sporting events – all kind of cultural events. Do you want more information on any of these neighborhoods? Call me with your questions or for a tour of condominiums, single-families or multi-families available. |
