Designed in 1895 by the Boston architectural firm of J.R. & W.P. Richards for L.J. Manning Esq., using quality materials for the day, a home of three floors with basement was built on over 19,000 square feet of land. A carriage house with stalls for two horses and loft for hay was also provided for.
